2 CHEAP SIMPLE STEPS TO ACHIEVE WHITER PITS AND REDUCE CHICKEN SKIN

I would like to credit Ann Salas for the tips which a few I took and now sharing you the results in just a week. :)

I've noticed how well taken care of our faces are that we forget about the pits! Dark underarms is a result of the continuous rubbing or friction on the skin.  Also caused by tops/shirts that are TOO TIGHT and applying deodorant. Yikes!

My UA condition: every girl's nightmare - dark & with chicken skin (heard chicken skin is hereditary). I actually plan to go for lasers or Revlite nonetheless, I've invested in so much this season that it's off the table for now. How timely that I've discovered this miracle worker and that's very CHEAP too! Less than a hundred bucks!

Okaaay, so I don't have anymore BEFORE pics as not to scare the pits err..wits out of ya.

So, I picked up 2 tips from Ann Salas and whaddya know, it works! :p

All are DRUGSTORE products. SUPERBLY cheap and easy to find even in sari-sari stores!

STEP ONE:

1. As we take care of our face, so should we give attention also to our underarms. Are you ready? Ten-tene-nen!

POND'S FACIAL WASH (accdg. to Ann, you can use any type) So far, I've used:

--> POND'S WHITE BEAUTY FACIAL WASH (pink one). I buy mine in sachets btw, costs around 22.00 php

--> POND'S MEN: ENERGY CHARGE FACE WASH (tried this because of the small exfoliating beads). 

And guess what? Both worked! XD But, I've stuck with the classic POND'S WHITE BEAUTY FACIAL WASH coz of its more well, floral-feminine smell. XD

** Do this MORNING AND NIGHT along with your facial regimen so it's not too hassle doing so many routines or when you take a bath**

STEP TWO:

2. TONING with ESKINOL CLASSIC WHITE DEEP CLEANSER

** Grab a cotton ball. Squeeze a few drops and gently apply and wipe on your underarm. Just a theory but make sure don't create too much friction as it's one leading cause of UA darkening.

I'm amazed how results were visible in just a week! My chicken skin was reduced too making it smoother and better in texture! OMG! 

And that's it! Was it a bit anti-climactic? Were you thinking a hundred steps to treat those stubborn pits? Well okay, there's one more bonus from my book. While we put a creams on our face for repair, so we can also do the same for the pits.

OPTIONAL:

(Can be bought in drugstores as well, price is at 199.75 php for 20ml)

* WHitens Dark UA

* It delays hair regrowth

* Softens & Smothens Skin

* Antibacterial

* Fragrance Free

>> Gel type so, easily absorbed by skin.

Apply this AM & PM after washing and putting on toner on your UA.

Things it claims to do (also good for BIKINI AREAS):

So far, so good! I'll do a more in-depth review on this soon. Which btw, I also apply this on my knees since it darkened from kneeling too much due to Airsoft. Nonetheless, I've seen significant improvement on those areas, both UA and knees. Plus, I think it did help delay the growth. I pluck lesser than my usual.

It's not perfectly white but I am really happy with the outcome! A confidence booster! I can raise my arms up in the air like I just don't care! XD Definitely, sticking with this routine! :D

     I thought about this a couple of times and admittedly, was kind of skeptic about it at first. Things like, "maybe it's too unnatural?" "hindi bagay sakin" "makapal, magmukhang weird" came into my very vivid imagination. And good thing it stayed there coz I definitely made the right choice! 
     Reading a description from their FB page, they got me at "Brows frame the face and eyes are the windows to the soul." Oh, how you can change your entire look with a mere brow change. Maybe I'll finally get the look I've always wanted - something I couldn't achieve thru eyebrow makeup coz of the lack of skillz dat killz. You feel my struggle, I know it! Brows may be one of the most difficult to pull of, but once you've found the right shape and perfected the execution, it's indeed a game changer! Let's not forget the eye-poppi'n, hello-Im-awake Yumi Lashes which mind you, is ALL NATURAL.

      Let's have a sit-down on the packages first and a brief description on the procedure and ingredients.

3D Explained It is a semi-permanent tattoo that can last up to 2 years. We only use organic based ink from USA, Germany and Russia. The procedure is inclusive of one retouch after 3-6 months. It takes 2-4 hours to do the procedure. A topical anesthesia is applied before and during the procedure to lessen or totally eliminate pain. Strictly by appointment only.

 As for the YUMI LASHES
YUMI costs 4,000** It is advisable for people who have average length eyelashes. This procedure isn't like your usual extension. It involves lifting your own lashes from the base. It uses Keratin eyelash lift that is safe, painless and guaranteed to last up to 3 months. **Aftercare Yumi Mascara is 1,500. Only cash transaction less 5%.

Now, heading off to my personal experience and the package that I took:

* They applied first a dark brown tint to match the organic ink with the microblading. I had to spend additional 1,000 php for this. Waiting time until tint is completely absorbed is 30 mins. 
(Disclaimer: this is OPTIONAL. Though it would look more natural and blended if you had it tinted)

* Accdg. to them, Dark Brown is the most natural-looking color and can go well even with blonde hair. Not sure of the other available colors though. Better check with them. :)

* Shaping of brows that best fits you. Traditional filling in and outlining with an eyebrow pencil before the semi-permanent organic ink. 

* They double, even triple check to see if it's PERFECT and FLAWLESS.

The truth is, I really decided to get unibrows.....jk!!! :))
It looks like I'm about to lie down on the operating table. LOL

* Topical anesthesia is applied for another 30 mins. for lesser to no pain at all!

* Ms. Keighty Wong (one of the artists) started the microblading. You'll hear the blade scratching against skin and hair but don't be alarmed; it's normal! Aaaand, there might be some slight pain at times esp. when it's done it becomes "mahapdi" - tolerable of course! #TiisGanda
* Second pass required but with re-application of topical anesthesia for 10 mins. before starting again with the tattooing. 

* Procedure took around 30 mins. or 40 as far as I can recall, for me which was kind of quick. 

And voiillaaaaaaa....

I was instantly in love and stunned by how natural it is and different I look! 

* Great news! If you decided to have YUMI LASHES done, you get another discount rather than paying the full amount of 4,000 php. Might as well try it out to maximize the beauty benefits!

* And yeeeeeap, you're right - HELLO to another 30 mins. of waiting. Undergoing these services will not only beautify you but teach you patience and the art of waiting. Hehe!

* Lazy boy-like couches ready to give you utmost comfort during lash service. Tho, I wasn't able to experience coz they were occupied and closing time was near. Didn't matter though, was just too stoked to see the output.

* Tint will be applied to make lashes look thicker and more defined.

* You can choose Natural or Drama effect. I got mine in Drama so, they lifted my lashes from the roots resulting to a wider eye-popping aftereffect. 

DISCLAIMER: Yumi is only applicable for those with average-length lashes. No extensions here baby! Just my hidden long natural lashes lifted from the roots and keratin treatment for long-term lengthening and thickening effect.

THE DAY AFTER:

A FEW DAYS MORE, A MORE CLOSER LOOK & BETTER LIGHTING:

BEFORE YUMI AND 3D MICROBLADING:

With my Ate lash-beautifier! Pak na pak ang lashes!

 DO's:

* Put on the brow gel (500.00 php available over-the-counter at their salon as well) nightly for 5-7 days. You can also apply this on your lips. Great moisturizer! Makes them soft.

* Apply Mascara Nourish Lotion After Care (1,500 php available also at Strokes) AM & PM.

It's a Keratin inducing mascara for longer and thicker lashes. Something safe for long-term use even when the lift is already gone. 

* If you're a gym junkie like me, I make sure to wear a headband to prevent sweat going down my brows and wipe it as much as I can.

DONT'S

* Do not wash for 2 days. (Though we wouldn't want new pimple breeding on our face if we are prohibited to wash. So, just try to avoid wetting and rubbing those newly treated areas.)

* Even after 2 days, do not scrub or rub too much as to make it last longer.

FOLLOW UP:

After a week of my semi-permanent eyebrow tattoo, it lightened incrementally (also my fault for forgetting to put the brow gel nightly). But it's supposed to heal progressively within 2-3 months. So, exfoliation were noticeable at this point generally, around my brow  and brow bone area.

Maybelline Super BB Cushion Fresh Matte REVIEW

Hey gals! We all are aware of the BB cushion rave this season! So, introducing one of Maybelline's newest foundation: Super BB cushion in Fresh Matte! It comes in two shades: 03 Natural and 02 Light. I got mine in 02 Light which is the lightest shade.

It comes in their color motif of course and I love how the actual case looks so classy with its glossy turquoise green and ivory.

Time to open the lid!

It's pretty organized I must say with a 2nd lid to separate the sponge from the actual product content:

The foundation itself is mildly scented which is non-bothersome.

The description on the back says:

SUPER BB FRESH MATTE CUSHION is our 1st BB matte cushion: Mattifying high coverage yet fresh and hydrating!

For the 1st time, mattifying agents & correcting minerals meet moisture agents in a soft cushion, for a flawless matte look that no longer feels dry and look flat. 

Now dimensional-perfect matte look is just a tap-tap away!

You know I've always been wanting to experience what's all the rave on BB cushion's about. So, I finally decided to buy one. It is quite difficult to find non-dewy types since it originally came from that purpose. Koreans are known for having that glossy and transparent look, way different from western style of makeup. No contours and very simple prettified look for our Asian counterparts. 

Reason why I bought this is because I was searching for a sheer, no makeup makeup look - something that will just even out my skin tone and cover eyebags. Since, my skin got better and I no longer need the heavy arsenals or full coverage. Certainly great for everyday just-going-out-to-the-market/mall look!

PROS:

* It's more leaned towards a semi-matte finish which is still a good thing. Good for those with oily skin. We definitely are in no need of more oils up there! :))

* Easy to apply, just like patting on powder! 

* Quick retouch because of the design rather than squeezing out products from tubes.

* It has sunblock too. Woohoo! SPF 25/PA + 

* It' still on SALE! I got mine from Landmark for 650.00 php. Original price is actually 750.00, you get 100 pesos off! what's more it's also on SALE in www.beautyMNL.com

* It's pretty affordable (as all Maybelline products are; good-quality AND affordable). Compared to most that starts from 1,000 ++ up. Ouch! 

* Can go with or without powder.

* DOES NOT CAKE even after sweating hard (unless you have powder foundie on top)

* Skin soooo soft, relaxed, glowy and smooth after removing foundation. BB creams do live up to their claims of nourishing skin underneath while giving us the coverage we need. So awesome right! Skin care and cosmetic in one.

* NO WHITE CAST since it's just SPF 25.

* Looks good and glowy even at nighttime.

* It didn't break me out

* Doesn't make you look like an "espasol" wherein your face gets ghost whiter than your neck unlike other BB cushions.

CONS:

* Still a tad bit shiny after minutes of application esp. on nose area which I had to apply pressed powder to set the product.

* Sheer coverage only. Won't completely cover up eyebags and blemishes. However,

Accdg. to beautyMNL.com, it's a BUILDABLE coverage. I've tried around the underye circles and a second layer helps. As with blemishes, not so much. Also, they did mention it being DIMENSIONAL, not so sure if  I noticed any of that in my snaps.

* I can still see my pores on cam. 

* Default sponge from product creates crease because of it's thin edge. Better to use a beauty blender or a wedge sponge.

Conclusion:

Overall I am very happy with it. Just the thought of me getting to put it on excites me! Because not only it gives me just the right amount of natural coverage I need, it nourishes my skin underneath. Perfect for everyday Ima-do-errands-look. Tbh though, I get to use it also for my events since I do full-time hosting and modeling. Just build it up, use concealer and set powder foundation or pressed powder as finishing touch.
